The whole list
Everything this site puts in your browser
The tools set nothing. No cookies, no local storage, no session storage. Nothing you paste is saved between visits, and no preference, draft or history is kept on your device by any tool here.
One outside service does set cookies: Google Analytics, loaded on every page to count visits. That is the complete footprint, and the next section names both cookies individually.
There are no advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels, no social buttons and no data broker tags anywhere on this site. Nothing here follows you off it.
Named
The two cookies, named and explained
Both are first-party, meaning they are stored against this site's own domain rather than a shared advertising one.
- _ga
- Tells one browser apart from another so a returning visit is not counted as a new person. Google's default lifetime is two years.
- _ga_ plus a stream identifier
- Holds the current analytics session state for this site specifically. Same default lifetime.
- Contents
- A random identifier and session timestamps. No name, no email, and nothing you typed into a tool.
Why
Why analytics is running at all
This site is a large set of narrow tools, and analytics answers the one question that decides what gets worked on: which of them people use. A page nobody opens is not worth expanding. A page with steady traffic is worth writing properly.
That is the only purpose it serves here. It measures pages, not people. No profile is assembled, no audience is exported, and nothing is sold.
Important
Analytics cannot see what you paste
Two things sound alike and are not. Analytics records that a page was opened. Your tool text is separate from that entirely.
For a browser tool, the text never leaves your device, so there is nothing for any third party to see. For an AI tool, it travels in its own request to our endpoint, which analytics is not part of. Neither route puts your text into an analytics event.
Also loaded
One other external request worth naming
The typefaces come from Google Fonts. That sets no cookie, but it is a request to an outside server, which means those servers see the connection the way any web server sees a request for a file.
It is listed because a cookie policy that mentions only cookies can leave a misleading impression of what a page loads. Analytics and fonts are the complete set of external requests any page here makes.
Your options
Three ways to clear or block them
Every tool on this site works with these cookies blocked. Nothing is gated behind analytics and no feature degrades without it, so blocking costs you nothing.
- Clear
- Use your browser's clear site data setting and pick this site. Both cookies go.
- Block
- Block third-party scripts in browser settings, or use a content blocker, which covers analytics generally.
- Opt out at source
- Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics on every site that uses it.
- Private window
- Incognito or private browsing discards cookies on close, so nothing persists to a later session.
A common mix-up
What clearing cookies does not do
People often clear cookies after using a text tool, assuming that is what removes the text they pasted. It is not, and the reason is worth knowing: the text was never in a cookie in the first place, so there is nothing there to clear.
Several browser features get lumped together under the word cookies, and they behave differently. Knowing which is which tells you what actually needs clearing after you use a tool here, which in most cases is nothing.
- Cookies
- The two analytics ones listed above. They hold a random identifier, never your text.
- Browser cache
- Stores the page files so the site loads faster next time. Tool results are not written to it, and responses from the AI tools carry a no-store header specifically to keep them out.
- Browser history
- Records which pages you opened, which is a list of URLs. The tool page URL may appear there; what you typed into it does not.
- Form autofill
- A browser feature, not something this site controls. If your browser offers to remember what you typed, that is its own setting to adjust.
Upkeep
If the list ever changes
This page describes what the site loads today. If a service is added, or analytics is dropped, this page changes with it. A cookie policy is only worth reading if it matches the page it sits on.
What happens to the text you put into a tool is a different question, and the privacy policy covers it. Anything else goes through the contact page.
